Describing Shelton’s Lincoln Highway Festival and Car Show on Sunday as "cool" wouldn’t have been very accurate.

"Mellow," on the other hand, fit it to a T.

Craig Woodward is working on reopening the historic Shady Bend Gas Station, Grocery and Diner as a bar and restaurant.

Glenn Wells of yahoo’s roadsidefans Group reports, “Fremont, Nebraska has a new diner, Penny’s Diner, and it’s even open 24 hours. From the photograph, it appears to be a Starlite. The diner is located north of East 23rd Street near Wal-Mart.”
