The Iowa Lincoln Highway Association is bringing the first ever 2008 Motor Tour through Woodbine for lunch from 12:30-1:45 pm, August 10.

With 350 yard sale events in its first year in 2005, the [Lincoln Highway Buy-Way] had 750 sales last year in Ohio and Indiana. This year, residents of Illinois will also join in the buy-way.

John Putch’s low-budget "Route 30", which has three interconnected stories taking place along the Lincoln Highway from Chambersburg to Gettysburg, premiered at Stony Brook Film Festival in New York on July 19. It will be screened in Gettysburg on September 27.

A 161-year old log cabin in Schererville, Indiana moves to its new home in Scherwood Park, crossing the Lincoln Highway along the way.

One of the very rare times that it has happened, the Lincoln Highway Buy-Way yard sale and the U.S. 127 Corridor Sale will be taking place on the same weekend this year and Van Wert is the only place in the country where these two sales intersect.

The Arnold Palmer Regional Airport, located along the Lincoln Highway in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, still has a genteelness lacking in most airports.
