The Henry Ford Museum has posted a short film from 1924 on Ford’s celebrating the production of its ten-millionth automobile by driving it across the country on the Lincoln Highway.

I couldn’t imagine the sense of freedom these drivers must have felt being able to travel to so many locations in such a short amount of time, especially since it was only a few years before where they on horse back or carriage.
