Coe College Lodging
On campus lodging is similar to Elderhostel lodging: reasonably priced,
comfortable, and centrally located to Conference activities.
All rooms are air-conditioned and handicapped-accessible. Long distance phone service is available via phone cards in dorms. Internet access is available. Soap, cups and linens (towels & bedding) are provided.
NOTE: No clocks or alarm clocks are provided.
Please note, if you are booking a double room or group of four single rooms in a 'quad', indicate any preference for roommate(s) on registration form and have your roommate(s) indicate as well.
Dorm-Style: Vorhees Dorm
The recently restored Voorhees Dorm is located adjacent to Gage Union with an impressive foyer and comfortable area off the entry for socializing, relaxing or reading. Voorhees is recommended for couples wishing to share a room. Each room has a single bed (or two if double), dresser, wardrobe, desks, phone and internet access. In the spirit of dorm lodging, restrooms are available on each floor with showers available to men and women on alternating floors. A common kitchen area is available on each floor equipped with refrigerator, microwave, sink, etc.
Apartment-Style: Brandt and Schlarbaum
Both Brandt and Schlarbaum are less than five years old and located a short walking distance across from Gage Union with ample parking nearby. Our campus guide mentioned that Schlarbaum has the best handicapped access of the three buildings. The "Quad or Apartment-Style Rooms" are located in these two buildings.
"Quad Rooms" are four - single bedrooms clustered with a shared equipped kitchen area, two full baths, an eating area and internet access.
Brandt has 8 quads/apartments of four single rooms (total of 32 rooms) and Schlarbaum has 7 quads/apartments of four single rooms (total of 28 rooms). There are also some Quads of two double bedrooms available.
Single or double rooms are available at a rate of $74 per person for 4 nights (June 13-16) = $18 per person per night.
Quad Room rate is $104 per person for 4 nights (June 13-16) = $26 per person per night.
