One of Cedar Rapids' newest attractions Artist Grant Wood resided and worked from 1924 - 1932 at 5 Turner Alley. The Grant Wood Studio is a founding member of the Historic Artists Homes & Studios affiliates program of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

Brucemore Mansion, a National Trust Historic Site open for tours and functions as community cultural center
with concerts, festivals and other events.



Excellent collection of regional art including the world's largest collections of works by
Grant Wood, Marvin D. Cone & Mauricio Lasansky. A special collection of Roman portrait busts occupy a special 2nd floor gallery.




Cedar Rapids is home to the National Czech and Slovac Museum and Research library.
Includes permanant collections as well as special displays and events.






The Carl & Mary Koehler History Center's focus is on the heritage and traditions of Linn County’s land and people.
Includes a unique blast to the past via Timequest (a specially designed 3-D real time virtual experience).

National Motorcycle Museum - Anamosa, Iowa houses a premier collection of vintage motorcycles, thousands of photographs, posters, postcards and pieces of motorcycle memorabilia plus an impressive collection of antique toys.



The African American Historical Museum is Cedar Rapids newest museum. It offers exhibits on the history of African and African Americans in the United States, with emphasis on Iowa. The museum overlooks the Cedar River and is centrally located Cedar Rapids newest museum and is located at
1st Street and 12th Avenue SE.
