A Dow City church overlooking Pearl Street a few blocks west from the early
campsite that was host to weary Lincoln Highway travelers.

Russell Brasel American Legion Memorial Hall, rubbing shoulders with the Lincoln
Highway on Pearl Street. There are buildings with similar architectural style in
Nebraska, and also on the Lincoln Highway.

Not on the Lincoln Highway, but the Dow House was home to the founder of Dow
City. Overlooking the town, it has a spectacular view of the Boyer River valley.

"..on Clark Street, and proceed two blocks to the south to Pearl Street and turn right. This is the exact route of the old Lincoln Highway.
Off to the left a couple blocks is the present city park, offered as a campground to Lincoln Highway travelers in the 1924 Road Guide. In addition to free camping, the city offered fuel, water, and electric lights - all free."
