The classic Lincoln Highway cottage gas station with an art-deco peaked roof.   Travelers on the Lincoln have to do serious "rubber-neckin'" to take in all the 1920s and 30s architecture.

"The Road Guides touted Crystal Lake, a 'good fishing and camp site' some 2.5 miles southwest of town.  Motorists would have had to turn south on Sixth Street, crossed the C&NW tracks at the south edge of town, and turned west for about two miles to reach the site."
